AlwaysCare Critical Illness Insurance provides lump-sum cash benefits on diagnosis of a covered illness, allowing employees and their families to focus on what is most important – treatment and recovery.

Critical Illness Plan Key Features

  • No Cost for Children – AlwaysCare’s plan includes Critical Illness coverage at no additional cost for dependent children.
  • Multiple Benefit Payouts – Includes First-Ever Occurrence, Additional Occurrence, and Recurrence Benefits.
  • Plan Portability*
  • Guaranteed Issue – Available based on participation.
  • Age-Banded Rates – Member and spouse rates based on Member’s actual age.
  • Available for groups with 5+ enrolled employees.
  • Health Advocacy Program – At no additional cost, the Health Advocacy Program provides our Critical Illness Members with assistance and support from healthcare professionals in managing and resolving a variety of healthcare issues and concerns.

Optional Benefits

  • Wellness Benefit – Benefits are payable to Member and spouse once per calendar year for a variety of tests while coverage is in-force. Double Wellness Benefits available for Members also enrolled in AlwaysCare Group Accident.
  • Cancer Benefit – Critical Illness plans available with or without cancer benefits.
